Safety and strength

Every January in Himeji, the local fire and emergency department organise a display in the grounds of Himeji castle in order to restore the community's faith in emergency services.

    Looks like a great day - if a little strange. I take it that the castle is now pretty well under cover.

    We went through there in 2006, and it was magnificent. I guess it must be a bit of a hard time for Himeji right now.
